My research interests involve topics related to Human Factors in Computing Systems, Theories of Human-Computer Interaction Design and the Development of User Interfaces.  The research involves also studies in new formalisms and paradigms (e.g. Semiotics, Organizational Semiotics, Participatory Design) for analyzing/designing/evaluating environments based on the computational media. The motivation for the development of this research agenda is the design of computational systems for the end user in a computer-based environment for learning and for working.
